Cube Corals
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most fascinating but also most endangered ecosystems on Earth. The interactive installation Cube Corals invites visitors to engage with the global coral die-off in a sensory and creative way. At its centre is a modified 4x4 Ru bik‘s Cube. By rotating its segments, digital coral formations can be created that vary in colour, shape and size. Each new combination refers to the enormous diver sity of marine life – and at the same time to the increasing threat to it. Cube Corals makes it possible to experience how closely our actions are linked to natural habitats.
